Vice Principal & Core Tutor
Since joining SCH in 2014 and stepping into the role of Vice Principal, I have made significant contributions to the enhancement of the learning environment. Collaborating closely with Mary, I have played a crucial role in coordinating lectures and course materials. My teaching portfolio includes Anatomy & Physiology, along with a variety of other subjects, where I am recognised as an inspiring and motivating tutor for SCH, as well as for national and international colleges.
With a background as a qualified nurse and midwife, I have gained extensive experience working in large teaching hospitals. I was instrumental in pioneering the Continuity of Care Maternity Project. It was during my tenure as a midwife that I first encountered homeopathy, observing its regular application by mothers seeking alternative and natural support during pregnancy and childbirth. This period also saw me attain a certificate in Teaching for Adult Education, further enhancing my educational credentials.
These diverse experiences have ignited my passion for upholding high standards in the future of homeopathy, benefiting its practitioners, students, and users alike. Currently, I am the Chair of the Institute of Registered Homeopaths, a role I have held since its inception. Prior to this, I served as the Chair of the Quality and Validation Scheme since 2019.
My knowledge has been shared across various colleges both nationwide and internationally, making me a sought-after figure on the lecture circuit since 2010. As an integral member of the 4Homeopathy panel, I represent the Homeopath Training Group, providing a vital voice within the wider homeopathic community.
In addition to my teaching and administrative roles, I am an author with several published articles. I have also been part of the editorial team of “Homeopathy In Practice” since 2006. I hold professional membership with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths and have been a dedicated homeopath since 1999. My practice in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, has flourished, extending my expertise to clients globally.
